Effects not recording correctly on DL1608
« on: March 02, 2015, 08:20:14 PM »
Just started using the DL1608  mixer. Can't get the recording to match the headphone mix in terms of panning on the reverb affect (none). Have reverb applied in the mixer, the tracks are centered and yet the reverb tail is only on the right channel. Perhaps there is a setting I'm missing.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Erik

I'm thinking you probably need to be running Master Fader 3.x and double check the routing for recording.  I'm pretty sure that the routing you expected is wrong.  In the previous version of Master Fader, the L/R output was the only place you could record from.  Now you have a patch panel to choose where your are recording from.  I'm making the assumption that you're using either a DL806 or DL1608 mixer.  The DL32R gives you so many more choices cause you can record so many more channels simultaneously.

Thanks! As you mentioned I didn't have record patched to main L and R. Thanks!
